Christopher Guy Chosen by Charles Neal Interiors to Bring Glamour and Sophistication to Holiday House 2009
ATLANTA, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Christopher Guy, purveyor of the "World's Finest Furnishings," will bring its signature glamour and sophistication to the 2009 "Save A Smile Foundation" Atlanta Holiday House November 20th through December 20th in Atlanta, Georgia. Christopher Guy's newest collection of luxury furnishings and accessories will be featured within the upper common area of the residence, created by renowned artist and head designer of Charles Neal Interiors.
Charles Neal Sumlin, head designer of Charles Neal Interiors, has chosen to feature a line of furnishings exclusively by Christopher Guy. Befitting this grand Atlanta residence and offering new and original concepts, it becomes apparent why Charles Neal Interiors is also tending to A-list clients on the West Coast. With innovation being part of the Charles Neal style, elements have been chosen with an inspiration taken from the iconic film "Gone with the Wind" and Scarlett O'Hara's corseted streamlined waist and square shoulders.
In his designs for the common area, Charles Neal has captured a statement of restraint and sophistication by featuring silk draperies adorned with Swarovski crystals and hand-painted mosaic artwork. This artwork, which serves as the focal point for the grand staircase, pays homage to the Austrian 19th century artist Gustav Klimt. The artwork, draperies and custom 20 foot furniture-quality cornice are viewable from the lower area upon entering the residence. The upper common area has never been grander with inclusion of Charles Neal Interiors, which has also won the honor of furnishing this year's Holiday House retail store.
The VIP Kick-Off Party is Friday, November 20, 2009, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The tour will be open to the public November 20 through December 20, Tuesday - Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Save A Smile Foundation (SASF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cleft lip and and/or cleft palate; cranial defects, an affliction which affects over seven hundred children each year.
