Save A Smile Foundation is forever grateful to Steve West and Steven West Custom Homes for partnering in raising significant funds for this life-changing need.  He is exceptional beyond his generosity; Steve West is exceptional in talent, design and vision.  A Steven West Custom Home isn't simply a house; it's designed to become a family heirloom.

It all started a few years ago at the St. Marlo Country Club when he designed a home for himself that combined elegance and fine detail with functionality. His unique floor plan became a model home that many homebuyers have since asked Steven to repeat for themselves.
Then West brought his natural instincts to a relaxing lake home at Lanier. The artist realized his true love is in homebuilding. Steven West Custom Homes, Inc. was thus born in 1996. The art major from Gainesville College had found an outlet to bring his love of Roman and Italian architecture to life in useful ways. Today West continues to build at St. Marlo, Lake Lanier and in Buckhead. Steve West was also the builder of the 2007 Christmas House at 895 West Paces Ferry Road which, not surprisingly, was purchased by a tour guest.

The Save A Smile Foundation (SASF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with cleft lip and/or cleft palate; cranial defects. One in seven hundred children will be affected by cleft lip and cleft palate; cranial defects. This number reflects just how pervasive this birth defect is among newborns.

Founded in 2008 by Bruce Patterson, Save A Smile engages in a wide range of activities in the community in an effort to not only raise awareness about cleft lip and cleft palate defects, but to raise funds in an effort to eradicate this birth defect. In the process, Save a Smile will assist families who are facing the financial challenge these defects incur; that are so often prevalent in families dealing with this circumstance. SASF will engage this issue head on and be a driving force in the search to find a cure.

The Save a Smile Foundation welcomes you and appreciates your interest in this issue. Please feel free to browse this site to learn more about Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate and to find out what you can do to assist in the fight against this defect.
